Synopsis
In 1955, Hiroshima, Minami Hirano, a young woman from a family marked by the atomic bombing, tries to build an ordinary life amid memories and wounds that have not faded. Ten years after the destruction, survival itself remains a source of unease, as relatives confront the physical and emotional consequences carried forward from the war. Decades later, Minami's niece becomes troubled by her father's unexplained absences. With a friend, she begins tracing his movements, opening a path back toward the family's buried history and the questions surrounding what happened in Hiroshima. The two connected periods examine how catastrophe continues to shape those who lived through it and the generations that follow, while keeping the focus on ordinary people caught between remembrance, guilt, and the difficulty of moving on over time.
