Synopsis
In Meiji-era Japan, Satoko's privileged upbringing cannot protect her from a life-threatening illness that is expected to shorten her years. When a mysterious killer suddenly comes for her, survival depends on an impossible negotiation. Satoko offers marriage to the very man who intends to end her life, binding them in a dangerous relationship shaped by fear, necessity, and uncertain motives.
