At school, Ion Tsuburagi has a private ritual for seeking good fortune: repeating the letters of her name. Her routine changes after she encounters Mikado Hourai, head of the Psychic Powers Research Society, and comes into contact with an experimental substance. The chance meeting links her charm to newfound telekinetic abilities and draws her into Mikado's unusual research.
