Synopsis

In 22nd-century Japan, Hideki struggles to find steady work while dreaming of owning a personal android. His prospects change when he discovers Chi abandoned among discarded appliances and brings her home, only to find that she can barely function and requires constant care. Their unusual relationship forces Hideki to reconsider what companionship means when technology can imitate human connection.
