Synopsis
In 1958, a desperate gambler named Nangou finds himself trapped in a dangerous mahjong match against members of the yakuza. His prospects change when Shigeru Akagi, a drenched adolescent with no experience handling the game, enters the parlor. Sensing unusual composure in the newcomer, Nangou hands him the tiles and places the outcome in his hands.
