Synopsis
At sixteen, solitary student Soji encounters the outgoing Mika on their school's rooftop. Though their personalities differ, both are shaped by troubled family lives and private emotional burdens. A quiet bond develops as they find comfort and understanding in one another, gradually deepening from an adolescent friendship into a complicated romantic relationship that continues as they grow older.
