Synopsis

In Edo-period Japan, three unlikely companions leave a chance encounter at a roadside teahouse behind: Mugen, an unruly fighter with an unconventional technique; Jin, a disciplined swordsman; and Fuu, the waitress who recruits them. Bound by her search for a wandering warrior associated with sunflowers, the reluctant travelers set out together despite clashing temperaments and opposing ideals.
