Blue Phobia

Synopsis

On a remote island, imprisoned workers are forced to extract a peculiar mineral from beneath the ground. Contact gradually alters their bodies, replacing flesh and bone with blue ore, after which they are confined in a research facility for examination. When Kai, one of the researchers, attempts to aid a patient's escape, he is drawn into a dangerous conflict between institutional control and survival.
