Synopsis
Tatsumi travels to the imperial capital with hopes of earning enough money to save his struggling village, but separation from his companions leaves him vulnerable and penniless. After a wealthy household takes him in, he discovers the cruelty beneath its polished surface and is drawn into Night Raid, a band of assassins fighting the corrupt minister who controls the young emperor and drives the empire toward ruin.
