Synopsis
Years before joining Night Raid, Akame is taken by the Empire and trained to serve as an executioner. Conditioned to see killing as a means of protecting others, she carries out increasingly brutal assignments while struggling to understand the values imposed on her. Her early years expose the forces and choices that shape the assassin she will become.
