Synopsis
After his father is killed during a Viking raid, Thorfinn grows up among the warriors responsible and becomes a fighter driven by vengeance. He remains focused on defeating their leader, Askeladd, while holding onto stories of a distant western country where fertile land might offer escape from war and slavery.
