Synopsis
Liselotte, a noblewoman in an otome game, has been cast as the story's cruel rival to Prince Siegwald. Beneath her sharp behavior, however, she struggles to express sincere feelings and carries private pain that others cannot see. Her fate appears fixed by the game's scenario, leaving her vulnerable to a sinister force and an approaching tragedy. Outside the game, broadcasting-club members Aoto Endo and Shihono Kobayashi begin playing it together, discussing the characters as they progress. Their commentary reaches Siegwald in the game's world, where he mistakes the unfamiliar voices for guidance from higher powers. Through what they reveal, he starts questioning Liselotte's reputation and recognizing the emotions hidden behind her hostility. With the story moving toward its predetermined outcome, the distant players and the prince must find a way to alter the course assigned to her.
