Synopsis
In the coastal town of Amide, generations of priests have maintained an agreement with a mermaid, whose protection is believed to sustain the local fishing industry. When the current priest abandons the tradition to satisfy journalists and developers eager to exploit the legend, Yosuke Yashiro, the family's skeptical youngest member, is drawn into a series of unsettling events that challenge his disbelief and threaten the balance between the town and the sea.
