Synopsis
A young woman uses a magical heirloom to glimpse a grim future: she is dying, and her husband's mistress is demanding custody of her child. Determined to escape that fate, she considers ending her relationship before marriage. Yet the reserved northern duke refuses to let her go, forcing her to choose between protecting her unborn future and trusting a bond she hoped to avoid.
