Synopsis

In 1989, twenty-one people die from poisoning at a school in a rural Hokkaido village, and local officer Bungo Sano is convicted despite insisting he is innocent. Nearly three decades later, his son Shin reexamines the case and travels to the crime scene, where an unexpected shift sends him back to the year of the tragedy. There, he must investigate the events surrounding the deaths and uncover what really happened.
