Synopsis
Imperial mage Nisha accepts a bargain with King Frei and travels north to investigate a curse afflicting Grand Duke Lanfel Delore. Behind his intimidating reputation, Lanfel is unusually vulnerable to the region's relentless cold. As Nisha studies the manor and searches for a cure, she also takes responsibility for the duke's daily care, drawing them into an increasingly personal arrangement.
