Synopsis
Humans and ajins—people with animal traits—share a kingdom shaped by a harsh social order that places humans above their mixed-blood subjects. Ajin men are valued as weapons for their unusual abilities, while women are pushed into sexual servitude. Determined to resist this fate, Kogetsu disguises herself as a man and enters the king's service, where duty brings her close to the power governing both peoples.
