Synopsis
After an animal-rights extremist group frees a pregnant chimpanzee from a research facility, her unusual child is raised by a human couple. At fifteen, Charlie enters an ordinary high school and forms a tentative friendship with Lucy, his first human peer. But the group that helped bring him into the world has grown more radical and wants to claim him for its cause.
