Synopsis

At a Japanese high school, groups of teenage boys spend their days trying to understand girls, whose behavior and appeal leave them bewildered. Lacking the confidence to ask direct questions, they trade theories, debate imagined motives, and pursue romantic insight through elaborate conversations that usually lead nowhere. Their earnest curiosity turns ordinary school life into a stream of comic misunderstandings.
