Synopsis
Akagami Akemitsu resolves to abandon ordinary pleasures and dedicate himself to a disciplined life as a monk. Yet his strong worldly impulses repeatedly challenge that ambition, turning spiritual self-control into an ongoing struggle. The comedy and drama arise from his attempt to pursue religious devotion while confronting desires he cannot simply leave behind.
