Synopsis

At a Japanese teaching hospital, ambitious physician Akira Kato hopes to secure a professorship by leading groundbreaking surgical research. She recruits Ryuutaro Asada, a brilliant but fiercely independent surgeon whose methods clash with the institution's rigid hierarchy. As their work exposes favoritism, inefficiency, and entrenched corruption, Kato must weigh her career ambitions against the cost of challenging the system.
