Synopsis
Ordinary college student Naofumi Iwatani is transported to another world and chosen as one of four champions meant to prevent an approaching catastrophe. Armed only with a shield, he quickly loses his money, allies, and reputation after being betrayed. Forced to survive under suspicion, Naofumi must develop his defensive abilities while seeking a way to protect this unfamiliar world.
