Synopsis
After leaving prison, former petty criminal Yotaro seeks out the rakugo master whose performance once stayed with him and asks to become his disciple. Though wary, Yurakutei Yakumo takes him in, drawing Yotaro into the demanding world of traditional storytelling. His apprenticeship also brings him close to Konatsu, Yakumo's ward, whose presence exposes the master's unresolved personal history.
