Serena

Synopsis

At the dawn of the nineteenth century, Serena inherits the struggling Serenity Hotel in Wellenberg's capital. Bound to the stern Eiser in a marriage arranged for practical reasons, she works to preserve her family's enterprise while their partnership grows increasingly strained. Her intense attachment to Frederick, the hotel's reserved servant, further complicates Serena's efforts to balance personal desire, duty, and survival.
