Synopsis

Sanzo, Gojyo, Hakkai, and Goku press onward toward Shangri-La, traveling through a land still scarred by a force that drove its supernatural inhabitants into madness. Their next encounter is with a solitary protector and the children under his care, whose fear of outsiders turns the group's arrival into a tense clash of suspicion, danger, and uneasy cooperation.
