Synopsis
High school seniors Chise and Shuji have only recently begun dating in their quiet hometown when Shuji learns that Chise has been modified by Japan's Self-Defense Force. As military demands draw her toward life as a weapon, Chise struggles to reconcile her destructive role with the ordinary intimacy and fragile future she wants to share with Shuji.
