Synopsis

In a declining factory town, Satoru drifts through an empty, directionless life until his neighbor Segawa, a former yakuza, offers him five million yen to end his life. The request forces Satoru to confront the violent impulses and despair he has kept buried, drawing him toward a dangerous moral and psychological crisis involving money, a gun, and a man ready to die.
