Synopsis
In postwar Japan, six teenage offenders are confined to a state reform school after being labeled among the institution's worst cases. Following a degrading intake and mistreatment from the staff, they are assigned to a cramped cell with Rokurouta Sakuragi, an older inmate whose example becomes their guide. Together, they struggle against violence, injustice, and the brutal logic of the facility.
