Synopsis

Red, a Pokémon trainer accompanied by an unruly Clefairy, enters a contest against Green to assemble the information required for a new Pokédex. Their pursuit unfolds in a world where Pokémon speak, ordinary animals still exist, and evolution can move in either direction. Red's earnest efforts are repeatedly complicated by Clefairy's foolish behavior, whose unexpected schemes sometimes alter the course of their quest.
