Synopsis

Childhood friends Smile Tsukimoto and Peco Hoshino approach high school table tennis from opposite directions. Peco is a gifted player who treats practice and club obligations casually, while reserved Smile remains close to the sport and to his friend. When Peco skips another training session, Smile is tasked with bringing him back, drawing both boys into the pressures of competition, adolescence, and their changing ambitions.
