Synopsis
At 39, Nozue has settled into a predictable rhythm of work, sleep, and little else, finding comfort in its limits while quietly feeling trapped by them. Togawa, his dependable 29-year-old subordinate, notices the strain beneath Nozue's composure. A visit to a lively pancake café with a younger colleague forces Nozue to confront the life he has been avoiding.
