Synopsis
In 1920s Gyeongseong, during Korea's colonial era, the death of a Japanese schoolboy at a lantern celebration places Kim Mugyeong under suspicion. As authorities investigate and the community turns against him, Mugyeong remains stubbornly silent. The unanswered questions surrounding the two boys reveal a tense story of hidden bonds, political unrest, and young people struggling to survive forces beyond their control.
