Synopsis
After relocating from Tokyo to a rural part of Japan, elementary school student Hotaru Ichijou must adjust to an unfamiliar pace of life and a very small school. Her class contains only five students, spanning elementary and middle school ages, creating an unusual mix of personalities and experiences. Their daily routines become the setting for gentle comedy and countryside adventures.
