Synopsis
In 2015, humanity faces the return of mysterious beings known as Angels. Fourteen-year-old Shinji Ikari is summoned by his estranged father, Gendo, who leads the covert organization NERV. Rather than offering a choice, Gendo assigns Shinji to operate an Evangelion, a living mechanical weapon created to confront the invading threats and defend a world already shaped by catastrophe.
