Synopsis
During a summer visit to her grandparents, energetic middle-schooler Shiina Tamai encounters a small, star-shaped being and names it Hoshimaru. Its appearance echoes mysterious dreams she has experienced since childhood, hinting at a connection to her own identity. Back home with her father, Shiina meets other young people bonded to similar creatures—beings they have trained into weapons for a plan to remake society.
