Synopsis

When alien creatures descend on their hometown, two childhood friends are caught in the attack. The boy saves his friend but loses both arms, while she suffers the loss of her left arm. Determined to repay his sacrifice, she trains as a mechanic and begins designing prosthetic replacements for him, forcing them to confront the lasting effects of that day together.
