Synopsis

Luce Kaisel, commander of the Crimson Knights' third regiment, has risen above the stigma attached to his family background. His hard-won independence is disrupted when he is assigned to Crown Prince Ayle Linus and ordered to pose as the prince's lover. What begins as a temporary deception places Luce in a dangerous tangle of royal expectations, buried tensions, and feelings that may prove impossible to control.
