Synopsis
Rudd survives on the margins as a low-ranked adventurer in a city built around labyrinth expeditions. His ability to resist status effects seems worthless, leaving him trapped in menial gathering work while guild rivalries and fellow adventurers make life precarious. After a betrayal strands him injured and without supplies, desperation drives him to eat the remains of defeated monsters, awakening a dangerous new path to strength.
