Mighty Girl

Synopsis

In occupied Japan in 1949, barmaid Tome Kano and investor Katsuya Ranzaki are both struggling after the war, though for very different reasons. Seeking a meaningful new direction, Katsuya forms an all-female baseball team and recruits Tome. As the players confront social expectations and the uncertainty of postwar life, Tome's strength and determination place her at the center of the team's growing ambitions.
