Synopsis
In present-day Israel, an elderly Japanese former correspondent visits the grave of Adolf Kamil, a Jewish man raised in Kobe as the son of a baker. His memories lead back to Kamil, Adolf Kaufmann—the son of a German diplomat and Japanese woman—and Adolf Hitler, whose rise shaped the bond and conflict linking their lives across Japan and wartime Europe.
