Kore wa Koi no Hanashi

Synopsis

A 31-year-old novelist retreats to his grandmother's rural home after losing the ability to write, neglecting nearly everything around him. His isolation is interrupted when Haruka, a lonely ten-year-old neighbor, asks to care for a stray cat in his garden. Seeing echoes of his own difficult childhood in her circumstances, Shinichi forms an unexpected friendship with her while his editor urges him to draw on the encounter for a new romance novel.
