Synopsis
In a kingdom that bars women from becoming knights, Gilga, a powerful elf, is appointed acting commander of the very order that excludes her. Though she projects the authority expected of a battlefield leader, she privately harbors a tender, inexperienced side and a longing for the romance and innocence associated with maidenhood. Her unusual position puts those two identities at odds.
