Synopsis
In Edo-era Japan, Jinta serves as protector to Itsukihime, a shrine maiden in the remote village of Kadono. While pursuing a demon through the surrounding forest, he meets an uncanny being who claims knowledge of the distant future. Their encounter launches Jinta across centuries, forcing the wandering swordsman to reconsider why he fights and what it means to become a demon hunter.
