Synopsis
This 2015 collection brings together nine horror stories chosen by Junji Ito, each built around an ordinary situation that turns profoundly unsettling. The scenarios include a sick girl confronted by a disturbing object outside her window, a suicide followed by uncanny figures appearing overhead, and a film project involving a difficult fashion model that takes a violent turn. Brief author commentary accompanies the stories.
