Synopsis
After losing her job, Chiyo Kozuka retreats into a bleak routine while ignoring three months of unpaid rent. Her landlord arrives with an unexpected proposal that changes their arrangement: they will share a home under deeply unconventional terms. As the two women adjust to living together, an awkward connection begins to develop between financial desperation, emotional vulnerability, and the possibility of romance.
