Synopsis

After an undefeated middle-school table tennis career ends with a crushing loss to an unknown newcomer, Hanai enters high school determined to leave the sport behind. Her plans for an unremarkable school life are unsettled when she encounters the same girl, who has also abandoned table tennis. The girl's aloof manner and confusingly affectionate behavior leave Hanai caught between old rivalry, wounded pride, and feelings she would rather dismiss.
