Synopsis
High school student Ippo Makunouchi spends his days helping his mother and enduring harassment from classmates, leaving little room for an ordinary adolescence. After a chance rescue by professional boxer Takamura, he discovers an interest in the sport and begins training at a boxing gym. With newfound direction, Ippo sets out to develop his skills and pursue a place in the ring.
