Synopsis

Baseball prodigy Hiro Kunimi abandons the sport after a medical diagnosis suggests a lasting arm injury. He deliberately enrolls at a school without a baseball program, hoping to leave competition behind. When the diagnosis is exposed as mistaken, Hiro returns to the game and sets out to build a team, with the ambitious aim of eventually challenging his longtime friend Hideo at Japan's premier high-school tournament.
