Synopsis
After surviving the Russo-Japanese War, Saichi Sugimoto seeks wealth in Hokkaido's postwar gold rush. A chance encounter reveals clues to a vast cache of Ainu gold, drawing him into a dangerous race against killers and escaped prisoners who want it for themselves. To endure the northern wilderness and its human threats, Sugimoto joins forces with Asirpa, a young Ainu hunter.
