Synopsis

At a Japanese high school, reserved student Mari spends her days focused on studying and largely alone. Her routine changes when Akiko, a confident and socially connected classmate, reaches out and brings her into a lively circle of friends. As Mari grows more comfortable with them, her feelings for Akiko begin to reach beyond friendship, creating an uncertain new longing.
